MISSION
Dr. Brian Schmutzler, physician, husband, father, and lifelong Hoosier, announces the launch of his campaign for Indiana State Senate, District 11.
Dr. Schmutzler is running on three unwavering principles:
Faith. Family. Freedom.
Christian first, conservative second, Republican when the party reflects Christian conservative values. His faith shapes his commitment to life, liberty, and personal responsibility, and it will guide his leadership in the Indiana Statehouse.
Dr. Schmutzler believes parents, not government bureaucrats or special interests, should control how their children are educated. While school choice is a step forward, he supports expanding microschools, hybrid, and homeschooling options that put funding directly in the hands of parents. As a hybrid homeschooling father himself, he understands that parents, not politicians, know what’s best for their children.
Dr. Schmutzler is committed to fighting:
Endless government debt and unfair property taxes
Government health mandates
Corporations that introduce harmful chemicals into food and consumer products
As a physician and supporter of the MAHA movement, Dr. Schmutzler believes Hoosiers deserve access to affordable, high-quality healthcare without insurance companies standing between patients and doctors. Improving access to care, especially in rural Indiana, will be a top priority.
Dr. Schmutzler also believes freedom means honoring the will of voters. In recent months, it has become clear that some lawmakers have lost touch with our values and with what constituents find most important. Too many fail to recognize the existential threat facing our freedoms, and Dr. Schmutzler is committed to standing up for voters and restoring accountability in the State Senate.
