Dr. Schmutzler believes parents, not government bureaucrats or special interests, should control how their children are educated. While school choice is a step forward, he supports expanding microschools, hybrid and homeschooling options that put funding directly in the hands of parents. As a hybrid homeschooling father himself, he understands that parents, not politicians, know what’s best for their children.
